  2. The Software License Transfer Program was introduced to allow
  3. customers to move software licenses from their current Domain/OS or
  4. HP-UX workstations to Series 700/HP-UX workstations at little or no
  5. cost.  Although the program has been well received, the requirement to
  6. verify old software support contracts has made it difficult to
  7. administer.  In response, the program has been greatly simplified.

  24. This program allows customers who choose to transfer from one HP
  25. workstation to another (as shown below) to transfer their software
  26. licenses to the new platform for zero or minimal transfer fees, if
  27. they purchase one year of support services for the respective
  28. software product at the same time.

  86.                Minimal Charge Software License Transfer
  87.  
  88. The following products are eligible for a minimal charge software
  89. license transfer.  The appropriate M05 dollar discount should be
  90. applied to arrive at the net price.  The corresponding software
  91. support product MUST be ordered at the same time.  For international
  92. orders, calculate the M05 as the stated percentage of LCP.
